Being Professional

For over twenty years I have worked in some aspect of corporate communications. Combining my passion for writing with my love of technology, I began my career as a technical writer responsible for the design and production of software user manuals. Capitalizing on my technical, creative and writing skills, I later joined a small IT start-up and was responsible for their marketing and corporate communications as well as technical documentation and training (hey, geminis thrive on diversity).  I have designed, developed and managed large corporate web sites , worked as a freelance writer, editor and desktop publisher and even managed a mayoral campaign.  Consult my linkedin profile for recent career highlights or visit my portfolio page to see samples of my work.

Getting PersonalMe, circa 1972

In my personal life and free time, I am a writer and activist specializing in family preservation and adoption reform. My passion for family preservation grew out the most traumatic experience of my life — losing my first born child to a baby broker in 1986.

I am the founder of ehbabes.com. The site and associated support group provides search, support and reunion assistance to those separated by the Kurtz network of agencies. Agencies include but are not limited to: Easter House, Birth Hope, American Friends of Children, Friends of Children, Adoption Edition, Adoption World, Casa del Sur and others.

The site and its registry members have no association with the agencies. With the support of all members of the ehbabes.com support group, we have facilitated over sixty reunions for members of ehbabes.com.
